Takahiro Kido: Coffee and Doughnuts (to be released on 21st May, 2024)
Music for a coffee break or like a coffee break.
On the 21st May, we will release a new single 'Coffee and Doughnut' from Takahiro Kido, a music composer who is also a member of Anoice, an instrumental music band. After the release of his previous solo EP 'Daily Songs', and in addition to composing soundtracks for movies, TV drama series, and events, as well as performing concert and tours, he has been working on Anoice and side projects; Films, Mizu Amane, and Tokyo Ambient Collective, but this single is his first work as a solo artist in three years.
This single 'Coffee and Doughnut' was recorded whilst Anoice worked on their upcoming new album 'Stories in White’, to be released on the 16th July, and was made into a gentle and fantastic song that is in stark contrast to those included on Anoice's album. This is also a personal track in which Takahiro Kido did all the creating process alone from not only playing all the instruments such as a piano, celesta, accordion, and organ, and recording them, but also mixing and mastering them and in addition to the release’s artwork.
The gentle sound of the upright piano and the charming sounds from toy instruments could give you a moment of peace and pleasure from your busy daily life.
This song will be released on digital music platforms and also available to download for free or Name Your Price on BandCamp.
