Yuki Murata : Piano Concert(to be released on 29th March, 2021)
The 29th March 2021 marks Piano Day, the 88th day of the year. We will release the first concert album 'Piano Concert' from Yuki Murata, the Tokyo-based pianist and member of cinematic instrumental music band, Anoice, alternative rock band, RiLF, and the dark classical/electronica unit, Films, for free or “Name Your Price” for one day only on BandCamp.
This album was recorded at her piano concert in a large concert hall several years ago and was previously only been available to enjoy on YouTube. However, we have now re-mastered all the songs especially for this audio only release. You can hear not only songs from her solo project, but also from her bands, Anoice and RiLF, her bandmate, Takahiro Kido, and some of her favourite classical composers such as Claude Debussy, Johannes Brahms and Johann Sebastian Bach.
We will also make a selection of our other albums featuring a piano free or “Name Your Price” on the same day on BandCamp to celebrate this day. Please also check the lovely works from not only Yuki Murata but also Anoice, Takahiro Kido, RiLF, Films, Mizu Amane, Cru, Sontag Shogun, Andrew Jasinski, and Mike Orgish.
Enjoy the day with her gentle and sometimes destructive piano sounds.
