Takahiro Kido : in my Time (2nd album released in 2007)
"in my Time" is the second album from Takahiro Kido, composer/member of Anoice.
It contains some masterpieces of chamber music such as "Glitch," which Ryuichi Sakamoto admires, "Where Time Goes" which Sylvain Chauveau eulogized, and some electric music such as "Overdrive," which was used as the background music of "Tanzbrucke 2011," a ballet permed at the Janáček Theatre in the Czech Republic.
This beautiful album was made by three pianos: a grand piano at a concert hall, Takahiro Kido's own upright piano, and another upright piano at an art event space, as well as stringed instruments such as violin and viola.
All of this, packaged in beautiful artwork from Takahiro Kido and the UK-based art unit NEON O'CLOCK WORKS.
For fans of modern-classical music such as Max Richter and Jóhann Jóhannsson.
