Yuki Murata : Home (2nd album released in 2006)
The second solo piano album from Yuki Murata, composer/pianist of Anoice, contains her awesome gifts for playing the piano that have brought her many awards in competitions, and composing music admired by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Nobuo Uematsu and Takeshi Kobayashi, famous Japanese musicians.
Three months after she completed her first album "Films", she rerecorded this attractive album that has a nostalgic and beautiful sound, by performing on a upright piano without preparation at a countryside house. One subject of this album is Japan's four seasons.
It also contains a marvelous tune made in collaboration with an antique clock that told the hour while she was playing a piano.
For fans of classical music such as Claude Debussy and Sergei Rachmaninov, but also modern-classical music such as Jóhann Jóhannsson and Goldmund.
